General Summary: The Account Manager role is responsible for the successful management of our Customer Partner relationships and processes relevant to: entry of orders, communicating and coordinating customer needs, and owning the customer experience. It will be your challenge to create and deploy cool new ways to make people and process better! This role is best for an extrovert who loves people, communication, problem-solving, critical thinking, and project management. This role creates a true positive and proactive experience for our customers, knowing that issues will be resolved in the best, most timely manner.

What You’ll Do:

  • Own and facilitate an amazing customer experience including order management, product recommendation and demonstration, effective proactive communication, account administration and much more.
  • Develop winning relationships that are equally successful for customer and company.
  • Be proactive on behalf of Foster Caviness and the customer – work to create positive wins and minimize reactive measures.
  • Foster a customer relationship that sets us apart – creates the competitive edge.
  • Work as an active member of the CE team to manage the business and achieve company goals and objectives.
  • Identify opportunities and partner cross-functionally to improve service levels, and develop solutions, and ensure customer expectations are exceeded.
  • Successfully onboard and set-up new customer partners working in collaboration with multiple departments.
  • Visit customers to build relationships, increase sales, and educate on product and technology to help customers understand the full suite of Foster solutions.
  • Ensure customers are aware of how their business decisions impact our ability to help them succeed.

What You’ll Bring to the Table:

  • A sincere passion for positively impacting people and making work, fun (this is first on the list for a reason!)
  • Insightful, meaningful, relevant service skills
  • Customer relations skills, both in person and through other forms of communication (written/telephone)
  • Experience with PC/ERP systems, Produce Pro, AS 400, etc.
  • Prior experience managing the customer relationship and partnering with various departments to deliver on expectations.
  • The ability to work as part of a team and perform consistently at high levels.
  • The ability to positively impact others, and turn frowns into smiles.
  • Commitment, loyalty, integrity, compassion, empathy and patience.
